Research to copy

Turn customer research into ad copy. Personas and angles, what each has bought, real verbatims, then drafted messaging that a person approves.

Use this when you want copy, hooks or messaging for a persona or an angle.

Who and why

meta_list_personas and meta_list_angles return the audiences your ads speak to and what they argue: promise, mechanism, pain addressed, emotional trigger, trust signals.

What each has bought

meta_get_strategy_rollup shows spend, purchases, results and ROAS per Value of every creative Dimension, so copy leans on what has been associated with results.

Their words

meta_list_verbatims returns customer quotes exactly as written, mined from reviews, the advertiser's site and competitors. Filter by persona, angle or kind (pain, desire, objection, trigger, trust, outcome). Use them as written and never invent a quote. meta_list_research_sources shows where they came from.

meta_link_verbatims files a quote under a persona or an angle so it counts as that audience's or message's evidence. The quote text is never changed.

Draft

meta_draft_messaging writes hooks, headlines (40 characters or fewer), primary texts and objection handlers for one angle. Each line cites the quotes it was written from. It is one model call.

To add a line you or the person wrote, use meta_save_messaging. To approve, reject or send a line back to draft, use meta_set_messaging_status. A rejected line is not redrafted.

Who adds sources, and who approves

A person adds research sources, in Settings → Customer research (/app/settings/research): app reviews, a page, or pasted reviews. Adding and refreshing a source are not MCP tools. They fetch third-party content on the caller's say-so, so they stay in the dashboard and on REST.

Drafted lines land as drafts. A person approves them under Library → Messages (/app/library?tab=messages) before they prefill a launch.

Launching is the next guide, Launch paused. Ads go live only on the person's word.

Over REST

meta_draft_messaging has no REST endpoint.

Deleting a research source removes everything mined from it, and deleting a copy line is irreversible. Ask first.

A prompt to start with

Draft hooks and headlines for the angle we spend most on. Use only verbatims from
our research, quote them exactly, and list which quote each line came from.
